These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the counselling, book, and speaking-engagement services offered by Rev. Dr. Danny Amoako Akuffo ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
We offer one-on-one counselling sessions (starting with a $150 Initial Consultation), multi-session counselling packages, the book "Sound Mind Over Depression," and speaking engagement bookings.
All consultations and packages are one-time purchases processed securely through Stripe Checkout. Counselling packages are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and do not automatically renew or recur.
We ask that you provide at least 24-48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed sessions, may be counted toward your package's session total.
Completed sessions and missed appointments are non-refundable. Requests for a refund on unused sessions within an active package will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss any refund request.
Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately — see the notice at the top of our homepage for hotline numbers.
Information shared during counselling sessions is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law — such as where there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is otherwise legally required.
While we are committed to providing professional, high-quality counselling services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
